My opinion regarding the fall of Genesis Lending: Stop trying to offer yields for shit that don’t actually create yields and may never actually create yields. Inspiring lockups with token rewards is one thing. Basing entire lending and APR business models off of products that don’t actually produce real yields is asinine. We use blockchain to fix things that cannot be fixed or improved without it. Use blockchain and cryptocurrency to create systems/processes that save people money, save people time, improve transparency, increase privacy/security etc. People have historically PAID for these improved systems/processes in the past, and they will CONTINUE TO DO SO. Why are we only trying to create virtual realms that are created and perpetually fed by nothing by itself? Does that seem sustainable? FIX THINGS. IMPROVE THINGS. PEOPLE AND BUSINESSES WILL PAY FOR THESE IMPROVEMENTS AND FIXES. Bring those payments driven from improvements and fixes onto the blockchain or into your project or both, and this would fix many problems that we are seeing today, restoring some sense of redemption and legitmacy. With all of these meltdowns and sagas, only real business models will remain. We’re sitting here watching virutal empires collapse because they abandon their real business models and engage in supporting a fugazi. Again, just my opinion and thoughts while watching things unfold.

Stop trying to offer yields for products that don’t actually create yields and/or may never actually create yields. We use blockchain to improve things that cannot be improved in the same way without it. People will pay for these improvements, then you create real yields.
